The Minneapolis Warehouse District, now known as the North Loop, might have changed a bit in the last decade or so, but one thing never has: since 1976, Bunker’s has maintained its hard-earned reputation as one of the strongest music bars in town. A pioneer and pillar of the Minneapolis music scene, Bunker’s proudly calls Washington Avenue home.
Decades of music history have been made on Bunker’s celebrated stage. Prince’s regular drop-in jam sessions remain unforgettable. Today, a number of local legends like The International Reggae All-Stars, Dylan Salfer, Jay Bee k& the Routine, and funky R&B specialists Dr. Mambo’s Combo put on incredible live shows six days a week.
